Italian football giants AC Milan and AS Roma will be heading Down Under this year.
The two clubs are set to face off in a bumper friendly match at Perth’s Optus Stadium soon after the 2023/24 European season wraps up.
It follows Tottenham and West Ham’s visit to Western Australia last year.

When are Milan and Roma playing in Australia?
The friendly between Milan and Roma is scheduled for Friday, May 31 at Optus Stadium.
A time has not yet been confirmed.
The final day of the Serie A season is May 26.

Why are Milan and Roma coming to Australia?
It is common practice for major European clubs to play abroad as part of their pre-season or post–season.
English clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have visited Australia in recent years, while West Ham and Tottenham were in Perth less than 12 months ago.
With several large Italian communities across the country, it makes sense for two of Serie A’s top teams to make the trip.
