Serie A giants Napoli are currently said to be keen on adding a huge release clause in the new deal for Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The winger is yet to sign a renewal at the Partenopei and while there has been talk of him potentially attracting interest from clubs, his teammate Victor Osimhen is the one who will depart in the summer and Paris Saint-Germain seem close to signing him.
Il Mattino state that the money earned from Osimhen’s sale will be used to hand Kvaratskhelia a new, well deserved contract. He currently earns €1.2 million per season but will earn much more because of the new deal. Not just that, but the club will also look to add a release clause in the deal – similar to how things were for Osimhen.
CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis is keen on the possibility and the club are considering adding a clause of €150 million, which is more than the clause in Osimhen’s current deal.
