And Atalanta’s 3-0 win at Anfield has all but made sure that Italy were handed +0.286 points to their tally, thereby guaranteeing that the team which finishes fifth in the Serie A will play in the Champions League. Germany are now at second due to Bayer Leverkusen’s win over West Ham, making sure that England fell to third and find an extra Champions League spot at stake once again.
