Lautaro Martinez’s agent is confident that his client will continue at Serie A league leaders Inter in the future.
Speaking in an interview with CalcioNapoli24 via FcInter1908, Alejandro Camano stated that his client Lautaro Martinez is on perfect terms with Inter as he feels valued like a “captain” in the team.
The football agent made it aware that the Argentine has two years left on his contract and they will aim to reach an agreement on contract renewal soon.
He said: “He is in an excellent moment, a golden one in the Inter team and he still has two years left on his contract. Today there are good relations with the club, I have relations with Inter having been Hector Cuper’s agent , former Nerazzurri coach. In truth, relations remain good, we talk and we can face the discussion calmly having another two years of contract. Lautaro knows that the most important thing today is Inter.”
Despite being in terrific form throughout the season, Martinez had a gloomy day when he missed a decisive penalty against Atletico Madrid which knocked out Inter from the Champions League. Camano expects the forward to be disappointed but he remains focused on delivering a stupendous performance on his next objective.
He commented: “After the disappointment with Atletico, he knows that he must aim for the next objective. Next season, aim for the Champions League again”
The Argentine has been hugely impressive this season and has scored 23 Serie A goals in 25 games, while assisting four times.
