There is an agreement on personal terms in place between Napoli and Lille’s Jonathan David.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, Lille forward Jonathan David’s entourage have said yes to Napoli’s offer. However, the Partenopei are yet to find an agreement with Les Dogues on the transfer fee.

Napoli’s offer to the Canadian international is a salary of €3 million per season with a 5-year contract (until 2029). He is keen on the move but everything will depend on the clubs’ negotiations.

There is a significant gap between the Neapolitans’ offer which is €35 million and Lille’s demand, set at €45 million. Contacts in the next few days will be aimed at finding ways to bridge this €10 million divide and Aurelio De Laurentiis might finance a reliable investment.

Jonathan David is also being pursued by Premier League clubs and Napoli’s league counterparts Milan after his impeccable performances in the Ligue 1.
