‘Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano is currently leading the race to become the next manager at Serie A giants Napoli.
The Partenopei will look for a new manager at the end of the season, when Francesco Calzona’s temporary stint will end. Daniele Longo has reported that Italiano is a leading candidate to take over the reigns at Napoli next season and progress is being made on this front.
Napoli’s choice is clear and they see Italiano as a priority for the hotseat next season, with Raffaele Palladino and Francesco Farioli also options, but they are losing ground. Italiano has already told Fiorentina that he will depart at the end of the season and his dream is to leave La Viola after winning a trophy.
