The Rossoneri had sold Sandro Tonali last summer and had signed a host of players that have been important to them this season. La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) state that more sales could potentially be on the way, if Milan’s price tag for players is met.
Contract talks for both the players haven’t quite taken off yet and if they do not sign new deals or if talks do not progress, they could be sold for a high price in the summer.
Maignan has a contract that is valid until 30 June 2026. He earns €3.2 million euros and the club is considering offer him a salary that is double the current one. Milan consider these rather important figures and if that is not enough for the player, it will lead to his sale for an astronomical sum and that could be around €100 million euros. The same goes for Theo Hernandez, who contract also expires in two years of contract and he is still far from an agreement for the renewal of his contract.
Both players are liked by Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain also like Hernandez. But there is also a possibility that if they get sold, Premier League clubs come calling for them.
