Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini feels open to listening to Napoli and their offer to make him their new manager.
The Partenopei have already backed away from potentially appointing Antonio Conte as their boss and have been heavily linked with a move for Milan boss Stefano Pioli, who will leave the Rossoneri in the summer.
Gasperini has also been linked with the Partenopei in recent weeks and Sky Italia (via CN24) have reported that the Italian isn’t against the idea of managing Napoli, despite skirmishes with the club in the past. He is very much open to the opportunity and to the idea of understanding about the project that Aurelio de Laurentiis wants to put in place.
De Laurentiis is close to making his decision about the move for a new manager and is speaking to incoming sporting director Giovanni Manna about the choice. As of now, Conte’s candidature seems to be lagging behind the names of Pioli and Gasperini.
