Serie A giants Napoli are yet to fully seal a move for Antonio Conte and only the final details of the deal are currently missing.
While it was reported that an economic agreement exists between the two parties, La Gazzetta dello Sport today confirm the same. Some details of the move are yet to be fully finalised but no problems are expected to be faced in the completion of the deal.
As of now, Conte wants a three-year deal whereas Napoli initially put forward a two-year deal when the Italian sent over his draft for demands. Conte also wants Gabriele Orialo as part of his staff as he is a trusted man, who has worked with him for clubs and for Italy. Napoli have agreed to the possibility but it remains to be seen what role he has at at the club.
Aurelio de Laurentiis has asked the club’s new sporting director Giovanni Manna to speed things up in the talks and the club CEO is convinced that Conte will take them back to the top of the European game. The deal is expected to progress and developments will take place soon.
