According to a report by Daniele Longo, Juventus’ new head coach Thiago Motta has specifically asked the club management to renew the contract of Adrien Rabiot as he expects the Frenchman to play a central role in his project. The Bianconeri have faced problems numerous times in extending the midfielder’s stay but Motta’s relationship with the player might emerge as the deciding factor.
Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is predicted to submit a two-year proposal with a salary of almost €7 million per season to Rabiot soon with assurances of game-time as promised by the new coach.
Motta and Rabiot played together at Paris Saint-Germain and they both share an excellent affinity for each other.
Juventus are hoping for the 29-year-old to accept the offer so they can progress with other transfer market proceedings.
