Serie A side Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka has revealed his thoughts about his future amidst Barcelona rumours.

Speaking in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stanislav Lobotka kept his future options open by hinting towards a possible transfer to Barcelona this summer. The Napoli man said: “I’ve been following Barcelona since I was a child. I would like to play in a top club.”

Earlier, the player’s agent had revealed that they had an agreement in place with the Catalonian giants and these are signs that they will attempt to force a move away from the Partenopei soon.

Despite his interest in playing elsewhere, Lobotka was quick to ascertain that he remains confident of the project at Napoli. He said: “Now, I’m in Naples, happy to be there, I have a contract and an ‘Italian family’.”

Lobotka is currently away on Euros duty with Slovakia and will decide on his future after returning. He is set to start in Slovakia’s last-16 match versus England tomorrow.
