Former Serie A champions Milan are pushing to seal the signature of RB Salzburg defender Strahinja Pavlović and talks are already on.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Pavlovic is a keen target for the Rossoneri and they are now serious for his signature, with the 23-year-old having been on Milan’s shortlist since the start of the summer transfer window. Negotiations have already started.
At Salzburg, there is a feeling that Pavlovic will not stay at the club beyond this summer and for all parties involved, it seems like it is time to say goodbye. Milan are convinced about the move and Pavlovic prefers a move to Milan despite interest from Brentford. Napoli were also interested but they have also taken a step back, with Milan now leading the race.
Milan are offering the double of the 23-year-old current salary and the promise of a starting role with the side. The player is currently on holiday after EURO 2024 and is currently with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and that could prove to be an important factor in his Serie A switch.
