Serie A side Fiorentina are now nearing a move for Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.
The Iceland international has been linked with a host of major Italian sides this summer and that includes Inter, Napoli and Juventus. But it seems as if he is all but set to join Fiorentina in what will be a major coup for La Viola.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Gudmundsson is getting closer and closer to joining Fiorentina and the move is one step away. After that, a definitive agreement will be reached by all parties.
Fiorentina had initially offered €5 million for an initial loan and the obligation to buy on the basis of certain conditions set at €20 million. They later offered an initial loan fee of about €7 million with the obligation set at around €18 million and €19 million.
Genoa still want a small raise, but things are not expected to be problematic. Parties are close to reaching an agreement.
