Serie A giants Napoli will now not sign Marco Brescianini this summer and the move has most definitely fallen through.
CalcioNapoli24 have provided some details about the situation, revealing that the medicals of the midfielder went smoothly. There were no issues at all in that aspect. The tests, it is revealed, were passed rather ‘brilliantly’. Despite that, Atalanta moved and swooped in quickly.
The outlet’s correspondent was outside the medical facility at Villa Stuart and something unusual was observed quite early on. After the medical, Brescianini left Villa Stuart and things seemed rather grim and he seemed unhappy with how things had turned out.
He left in a car and Napoli’s doctors also left in another car. SportItalia have revealed that this was due to some late changes in the move that Napoli had tried to do and it could possibly be connected to the fact that Jens Cajuste’s move to Brentford fell through at the last minute.
Atalanta’s hijacking of the move took place after the medical and that is when Napoli slightly tried to make changes to the deal.
