The Bianconeri continue to the raise the bar with former Bologna coach Thiago Motta at the helm of the club as Juventus  attained all three points in fine fashion against Verona at the Bentegodi to keep their winning streak alive.

Despite a slow start to the first half, Juventus shifted into third gear as they recuperated the ball off a high-press, resulting in promising Turkish international Kenan Yildiz to find Dusan Vlahovic in between the lines for the Serb to snatch his first goal of the season.

Less than 10 minutes after, academy graduate Samuel Mbangula continues his hot streak of form as the Belgian winger provided fellow youth teammate Nicolo Savona with a well-delivered cross for the central defender to find the back of the net with a superb header on his debut for the Old Lady.

The former Fiorentina striker closed off the game as he converted a penalty which was won by Mbangula in order to obtain a brace and enable Juventus to take a leap past Inter at the top of the league.

As it stands, with six points out of six in their opening two matches, as well as having scored a total of six goals and conceding zero, La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that Juventus have achieved their best start to a Serie A campaign in the past five seasons.

Although many can argue that Juventus have had a roughly easy start given their opponents, it seems that Juventus are moving on the right path towards becoming major title competitors as Motta has done a great job integrating the youth and getting across his fluid, attacking-minded philosophy within a short amount of time.

With Juventus having barely utilized new signings Douglas Luiz and Pierre Kalulu, as well as forwards Nico Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao set to join the squad this week, the Bianconeri head into their fixture against Roma,  next week at the Allianz with a great deal of confidence and sense of belief, which is set to be their first real test of the season.
