Serie A giants Napoli are now nearing a move for Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour and they are expected to seal their move for the player tomorrow.
The Scotsman has been linked with the Partenopei for many weeks now but Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna flew into London earlier today to get close to signing the midfielder and some progress has been made.
Gianluca di Marzio has stated that the move is now one step away, with the player having agreed personal terms with the Partenopei and he wants the move.
New contacts will take place with Brighton tomorrow and they are expected to close the deal. Napoli are likely to pay a fee of €12 million plus bonuses of €3 million to sign the former Chelsea man, who will arrive on a permanent transfer.
The Italian press has seemed very confident about the move for a while now and it finally seems to have made key progress.
