Milan are plotting a potential transfer for Torino’s Samuele Ricci.
According to a report by journalist Nicolo Ceccarini, Milan have registered a strong interest in Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci. The 23-year-old is favoured by Italy National Team manager Luciano Spalletti and he responded with two great showings versus France and Israel recently.
The Rossoneri management ‘really like’ the Granata playmaker but he is considered to be on their wishlist for next season. Milan will assess his progress with Torino and the National Team before making a concrete approach next summer.
The Turin-based club’s president Urbano Cairo is aware of the interest from Milan and will ask for a sizeable transfer fee when the negotiations begin. He expects a similar figure for Ricci as he received from the sale of Alessandro Buongiorno to Napoli.
Ricci made 32 appearances last season in the Serie A, scoring once and assisting twice. Additionally, he played an influential role in helping the club achieve a strong finish.
