The agent of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has revealed that there is no rush regarding the Argentine’s renewal at the club.

Martinez’s agent has regularly spoken about the potential new deal at the Nerazzurri and it was reported previously that talks about a new deal have already taken place. Before Inter’s Champions League second leg against Atletico Madrid, talks were held in Madrid.

His agent Alejandro Camano has now spoken about his client’s future again in an interview with FCInter1908 and he has revealed that the situation is calm and the relationship between the two parties is excellent, with contact already underway between the two parties.

“We are always in contact with the management, there is an excellent relationship. How long until the renewal? Lautaro has a contract until 2026! He has a great relationship with Inter, he is the captain. Now the important thing is to reach the Inter’s objectives and making the fans happy. And we will continue to work for the future of Lautaro and Inter together. There is no rush, we are all absolutely calm.”

Camano’s comments have always given positive signs about the new deal for the Argentine and there indeed doesn’t seem to be any sign of a new deal coming off.

So far this season, the striker has impressed a lot and has scored 23 times in 26 Serie A games this season.
