Zverev has won four out of his five meetings with Sinner, but was unable to face the Australian Open champion in Italy after the 22-year-old pulled out through injury and left doubts over his participation in Paris later this month.
The world No. 2 has been sidelined the past fortnight due to a hip injury he picked up at the Madrid Open, insisting that he would only compete at the French Open if he is “one hundred per cent physically”.
But he has been spotted back in training at Juventus football club’s medical centre in Turin, hinting at a return in Paris, where he can get revenge on Zverev for his jibe during Italian Open celebrations.
