In a recent appearance on Domusbet.tv, Antonio Cassano shared his thoughts on the best number 10s in the history of Italian football.
The ex-Roma, Real Madrid, and Parma attacker declared former teammate Francesco Totti and Roberto Baggio are first in-line while the likes of Alessandro Del Piero sit just below the pair.
“Totti and Baggio are first on the list,” stated Cassano, who played alongside the Roma talisman for 4.5 years before joining Real Madrid in January 2006.
“Then there’s also [Alessandro] Del Piero, but he’s slightly below.”
Interestingly, Cassano ranked himself last in the list, humorously noting that despite possessing superior talent, he often ‘forgot’ it on weekends, indicating a playful nod to his erratic professionalism and inconsistent performances.
