Serie A giants Napoli could have a chance of signing Romelu Lukaku in the summer, with his stint at Roma all but set to end.
Lukaku is currently on loan at Roma from Chelsea, with the Giallorossi having an option to buy that probably will not be exercised in the summer. The likelihood is that Lukaku will return to Chelsea in the summer and his future will be sorted out after that.
La Repubblica today have reported about the Belgian’s future, stating that Roma could look to have Federico Chiesa in the side next summer and he could come in, especially if Lukaku departs in the summer. Juve could accept a fee of about €30 million and bonuses for Chiesa.
In meantime, Lukaku has the wish of staying at Roma in the summer but the Giallorossi will find it difficult to find an agreement with Chelsea over a permanent fee, even if they would like to keep him at the club for next season.
But a new opportunity regarding the future could open up for Lukaku and that relies on whether Antonio Conte ends up at Napoli or not. If the Italian ends up as the Partenopei boss, he could push to bring Lukaku to the Maradona, like he has at previous clubs.
