Incoming Liverpool boss Arne Slot is interested in bringing Atalanta’s Teun Koopemeiners to Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Koopmeiners has been linked with Juventus rather heavily and Daniele Longo has reported that the Dutch midfielder feels ready to take the next, big step in his career and he has, it has been previously reported, he has asked La Dea about leaving in the summer.
Liverpool are indeed captivated by the ex-AZ Alkmaar man and they like how he can perform in attacking midfield and slightly deeper as well. Slot likes Koopmeiners and would like the midfielder at the club next season, with La Dea currently asking for around €60 million to sell the player. That fee isn’t too high for Liverpool, as things stand.
Liverpool’s inclusion in the race for Koopmeiners could be a problem for Juventus, who do have the midfielder in their shortlist. But they would have to accelerate in their approach soon to beat the Reds.
