The Italian was linked with a move to Juventus, who seemed close to signing the defender. But it seems as if Calafiori’s asking price has now increased after an impressive EURO 2024 with Italy.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that Arsenal are also keen on the Italian and are keeping tabs on the defender. Multiple teams are said to be interested in him but for now, Arsenal seem to have the most amount of concrete interest in the possibility of landing him.
It was previously suggested that Juve had agreed personal terms with Calafiori, who played under Bianconeri boss Thiago Motta last season and he was keen on a reunion. But Juve’s move seems to have been delayed, allowing others into the race.
Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori recently mentioned that it is unlikely that the player will end up at Juve.
