La Dea have been in a bit of a crisis when it comes to squad selection but they didn’t let that show on Monday, beating Lecce 4-0 in their Serie A opener.
Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that they are about to add Bellanova to their squad, with the player returning to the club after four years. The agreement is being finalised, with La Dea set to pay between €20 million and €22 million for the wing-back, who impressed last season.
Torino initially wanted €25 million but the deal will be closed at a slightly less fee, after Atalanta made some enquiries about Juan Cuadrado.
There were also delays in La Dea’s move for Wesley but since Atalanta wanted to sign a right-sided player quickly, they have decided to sign Bellanova. They had also had a bid rejected for Neco Williams earlier.
