Serie A side Atalanta reluctant to accept Juventus’ initial offer for Teun Koopmeiners.

According to a report by Giovanni Albanese of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atalanta express dissatisfaction with Juventus’ first offer of €45 million for Teun Koopmeiners. La Dea’s asking price is set at around €60 million and they are not looking to negotiate with any club for a lower price.

The 26-year-old is expected to put pressure on the Bergamo-based side to get into talks with the Bianconeri as he is looking to exit the club this summer for a much bigger challenge.

It is unlikely that Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will agree to reach the demands of €60 million but he will try to offer a deal that works in favour of both parties. The inclusion of players in the proposal has also not been ruled out.

The Old Lady management wants to provide head coach Thiago Motta with Koopmeiners as they want to enable him the option of a prolific midfield pack.
