Spring might not be too far away but it’s still a while until the UK has the chance of getting some sunshine.
If you can’t wait to feel a little warmth on your face, luckily there’s some fantastic winter sun destinations in Europe.
The travel experts at eurochange have recommended Sicily as one of 2024’s best destinations for winter sun. The Italian island is known for beaches, brioche con gelato and ancient history.
In February, temperatures can soar as high as 20 degrees, making it a beautiful spot for a last-minute winter break.
Tourists can choose to head to one of the island’s beach areas such as Mondello or opt for a city break in Palermo.
