The Nigerian is yet to find a new club and was excluded from Napoli’s squad for the recent Coppa Italia clash against Modena.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that Osimhen did train today, but he trained separately and didn’t get involved in the first-team affairs at all. He wants to leave and is still waiting for a club to come forward.
While he was hoping that Paris Saint-Germain return, Chelsea have returned in the race. Their technical staff has given the go-ahead to move for the Nigerian and the move would only have to be a permanent one and not a loan deal. Negotiations over salary would have to take place between the player and the Blues, if a deal is agreed with Napoli.
But at the same time, the possibility of a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku could take hold once again. This could allow both players to seal their dreams and both clubs would also be achieving their transfer goals.
