Inter’s Francesco Acerbi is in deep trouble after the surfacing of a new video clip in racism case.
According to a report by La Repubblica via Calcio Napoli 24, a new video has emerged featuring the altercation between Francesco Acerbi and Juan Jesus which led to the Italian being hit with racism charges.
The latest video provides a lip reading of the 36-year-old saying: “I’m not a racist.” The player was seen justifying himself to Juan Jesus after being called out by the referee.
This new evidence is expected to play a key role in the Sports Judge’s decision in the next few days on the case. Acerbi’s future with the Nerazzurri is at stake as the court’s decision could influence his career.
If found guilty, the central defender will be hit with a minimum of a 10-match disqualification. However, he continues to assert that he did not say anything derogatory that he should apologise for.
