Nottingham Forest have recently been mentioned as a key competitor in the chase of Bove, who can leave the club this summer. But it seems as if there is interest from Eintracht Frankfurt, who are progressing in their move.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that both the clubs are interested in the Italian, with the German club having knocked on the Giallorossi’s door for the player.
The Eagles are ahead of Forest in the race and have put forward an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently. Bove has already left the club’s training ground after emptying his locker and he too expects to leave this summer, having realized that he will not get first-team football at the club.
He currently prefers a move to Frankfurt because the initial loan and option could allow him the chance to return to Roma next summer.
