Serie A giants Napoli and Everton have now agreed a move for Jesper Lindstrom and a move is edging closer.
The Dane hasn’t quite made a mark at the Partenopei since he joined the club and it seems as if Napoli are ready to cut their losses on him.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Napoli and Everton now have an agreement over a move for the Dane, with the Toffees set to sign him on an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently for a fee of €23 million.
The Partenopei have already decided about a potential replacement for Lindstom and they see David Neres as the target. They intend to sign Neres for a fee that is similar to what they could earn from Everton for Lindstrom’s exit. Neres has already told Benfica that he doesn’t intend to play next season and Napoli are now stepping up their move.
Lindstrom, meanwhile, is discussing terms over a contract with Everton and he will join the club soon and he has already bid farewell to his teammates during training.
