Serie A side Fiorentina are now edging close to sealing a move for Monza boss Raffaele Palladino, with Vincenzo Italiano set to depart the club.
La Viola recently lost the UEFA Conference League final for the second time in a row and Italiano’s stint will end without any silverware. La Gazzetta dello Sport are confident that Fiorentina have a replacement in hand for Italiano and that is Monza manager Palladino.
The 40-year-old is already in Florence and key talks to seal the move will be held today after an important meeting took place with Rocco Commisso yesterday. A two-year deal is already on the table and details regarding the move will be sorted out in the meeting today.
The likelihood is that the announcement regarding the move will be made after the last game of the season against Atalanta but one thing is for sure, Palladino will be Italiano’s replacement. After the last league game, Italiano’s exit will be announced and soon, Palladino will be announced as the new La Viola boss.
