Luca Taidelli of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter are working to materialise a move for Sevilla winger Dodi Lukabakio during the summer transfer window. They are probing the Belgian international alongside Albert Gudmundsson, who is also looking to leave Genoa after a fruitful season.
The Nerazzurri are waiting for an indication from club owner Steven Zhang to progress with transfer proceedings as he is yet to secure a new loan which will give continuity to the project.
If Inter fail to land Gudmundsson this summer, they will go for Dodi Lukebakio as the Sevilla man costs less — around €12 million, and is a prolific goalscorer with experience in the Bundesliga and LaLiga.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio is expected to use Lucien Agoume, who is on loan with the Andalucians, for leverage in the negotiations with Sevilla as a player exchange deal is firmly on the cards.
