Serie A giants Napoli currently find themselves in the false accounting case and the decision will be announced by the end of the campaign.
Club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis spoke to the prosecutor of Roma yesterday in what was a chat that lasted about an hour and a half, where De Laurentiis clarified his stance about how the players included in the deal to sign Victor Osimhen indeed had the value that Napoli felt they had.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via CN24) state that all the board members of De Laurentiis’ club are under investigation and that includes his children and wife. None of them will be heard as part of the case, as De Laurentiis was tasked with clarifying their position.
The decision in the saga will arrive by the end of the month, with the club’s offices and the offices of Filmauro already checked and investigated by the authorities. The prosecutors will decide whether to put De Laurentiis on trial or whether to put an end to the story.
