Juventus are closing in on their latest summer signing, with Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram ready to head to Turin to join Thiago Motta’s new-look Bianconeri side.

La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights that Juventus Sporting Director, Cristian Giuntoli, could close out the deal before the end of the week, which would be the Old Lady’s second major signing of the summer, following the arrival of Brazilian international Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa.

The pink journal states that Thuram, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Ligue 1 side, will cost Juventus somewhere in the region of €20M including bonus payments with the Old Lady using the money collected in the €13M plus bonuses sale of Moise Kean to Fiorentina, to fund the transfer.

Khephren, who is the younger brother of Inter striker Marcus and the son of former Bianconeri legend Lilian, is expected to earn something in the region of €2M a season at his new employers and is understood to be excited at the prospect of joining his brother in Serie A.
