Juventus have made new contacts this week with the representatives of Porto marksman Wenderson Galeno in order to acquire information and understand the situation regarding his availability within the market.
Mirko Di Natale of TuttoJuve reports that following discussions between both parties, the Bianconeri were told that the Portuguese giants’ asking price for the 26-year-old marksman has not budged and will remain at €30m.
Throughout last year’s season, Galeno has had a successful run of form, amassing nine goals and seven assists in 31 appearances for the dragoes, attracting a great deal of interest across Europe.
Whilst Juventus are currently undergoing a selling spree as they seek to rebuild the squad from the very bottom of the foundation under former Bologna coach Thiago Motta, the Turin-based club identify Galeno as the ideal profile to strengthen the front-line.
