Serie A giants Juventus are interested in FC Porto attacker Francisco Conceicao and are working on a move.
Juventus have been linked with various attacking threats this window, including Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners, but the latest name on the list is that of Francisco Conceicao.
The 21 year-old already has already made over 50 appearances for Porto and 23 more for Amsterdam based team Ajax, and he could be one of a few new players to brighten up Thiago Motta’s new look Juventus attack.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus are targeting two more attackers before the end of this window and that the club have already agreed personal terms with Conceicao. However an agreement with his club Porto has not been reached.
Reports also claim that Fiorentina and Argentina forward Nicolás González is on the radar of Juventus, which makes sense given that Federico Chiesa looks set to leave the club. Thiago Motta’s revival of the Bianconeri could well depend on how successful the club are in acquiring these impressive attacking targets.
Conceicao, though young, has bags of quality. He usually operates as a winger and what he lacks in size he makes up for with speed and skill. Conceicao appeared for Portugal at EURO2024 and scored a vital late winner against the Czech Republic. He is the son of Sérgio Conceicao, the former Portugal international who won the Serie A with Lazio during the 1999/2000 season.
