Serie A giants Juventus are working on a potential swap deal which can bring Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz to the Bianconeri in the summer transfer window.
Talk has been rife, linking the Brazilian with the Old Lady. And Gianluca di Marzio has now confirmed the rumours, stating that both Villa and Juve are working on a deal involving Douglas Luiz and American midfielder Weston McKennie, who interests the English side.
The move is currently a bit complicated because the varying valuations of the two, but it seems as if there is mutual willingness between both clubs about a move of this type.
Luiz’s current valuation is at €60 million and he wants a wage of €6.5 million per season, whereas McKennie is valued at €30 million because his contract runs out in 2025.
It has previously been stated that to make up for the valuations, Juve could add other players in the deal and one of those assets could be Matias Soule, who impressed in his loan stint at Frosinone.
