Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola is expected to depart the club at the end of the season and he has probably played his last game for the club already.
Spinazzola picked up an injury during Roma’s Europa League clash against Bayer Leverkusen and La Gazzetta dello Sport state that the Italian’s season with the Giallorossi is essentially over. He is likely to be out of action for over three games now, meaning that he has played his last game for Roma not just this season but even in general.
The tests were carried out some hours ago and with no contract talks ongoing over a new deal for the Italian, it seems as if he will leave the club in the summer. Roma are yet to appoint a new sporting director, meaning that no concrete developments have taken place on this front in the last few weeks and months.
So barring any surprises, the Azzurri man will leave in the summer on a free transfer and the club’s desire seems to be that they will not renew his deal.
