Premier League side Manchester United are still considering signing Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot this summer.
According to a report by La Stampa via TMW, Manchester United are aiming to land the signature of Adrien Rabiot for free this summer and have established contacts recently.
The Frenchman is going out of contract next month and Juventus are unsure about renewing the midfielder. Rabiot’s current salary of €7 million remains a problem as the Bianconeri can negotiate a much lower amount for another player.
This renewal standoff between the two parties has opened the doors for Manchester United to capitalise. The Red Devils previously pursued the 29-year-old last summer but they could not reach an agreement on salary details due to high demands.
Juventus will be needing funds ahead of the transfer window and they will hope to offload Rabiot to have some breathing space in their payroll.
