Ligue 1 side Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana heads Milan’s wishlist for the summer transfer window, with the Rossoneri likely to make an offer.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan will make a move for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana in the early parts of the upcoming summer transfer window. The Rossoneri management sees the opportunity of securing the Frenchman as a calculated risk and one that might pay adequate dividends over time.
CEO of Milan, Giorgio Furlani, has indicated in an interview with DAZN that the club will buy a central defender, a defensive midfielder and at least one striker. Chief Scout Geoffrey Moncada has already started working on probing potential signings in the market.
If the Diavolo do not land Fofana this summer, then the alternatives are Sofyan Amrabat, who is set to return to Fiorentina following his loan spell with Manchester United and Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg of Tottenham. However, Milan do not want to explore these two options because of economic and age reasons.
