Serie A giants Milan have made contact for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who is a key striker target for the Rossoneri in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MN) have reported that signing a striker is Milan’s second biggest priority, with the first priority being the signature of a manager. The number one target for the striker’s role is Sesko, whose profile has been on the club’s shortlist for a while now.

In recent hours, the agency that represents the striker posted a story on social media that suggests that someone from the agency was present at the club’s headquarters. And the report confirms that a meeting did take place between the club and someone from Sesko’s entourage.

Premier League clubs could provide competition for the Slovenian and in general, the negotiations won’t be simple. There is a release clause in place and it starts from €50 million and Milan know that it will be a significant fee for them and they also understand that it could be one of the most significant transfer fees’ in the club’s history.

More about Milan’s interest will be known when Leipzig’s season ends and the expectation is that the period between the season end and start of the Euros could be a good time for further talks to be held between the two parties.
