Serie A giants Milan are exploring the possibility of making Marcelo Gallardo their new manager in the summer.
The Rossoneri haven’t made new progress in their attempt to land Sergio Conceicao or Lille bos Paulo Fonseca and it seems as if a new name has entered their shortlist.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that with Gallardo departing Al Ittihad, Milan have shown some interest in him and have asked for information about the former River Plate boss, who impressed in his time at the Argentine giants. Gallardo’s contract at the Saudi club will be terminated soon.
Milan have explored the possibility and he is another foreign manager that they are currently considering. One problem, however, would be Gallardo’s huge salary demand. He currently earns €22 million a season at Al Ittihad and that is something Milan definitely can’t afford. If he is freed from the Saudi club after a termination, things would make it easier for him and for Milan.
