Lazar Samardžić is a 22 year-old Serbia international who has made over 90 appearances for Udinese and is now in the eye of Serie A giants AC Milan.
Milan will soon make contact with Udinese regarding Samardžić, Daniele Longo reports. He confirms that the first steps in the negotiations have commenced and Milan are set to make a bid of €15 million for the Berlin-born player.
Before his spell in Italy, Samardžić played for RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin in Germany, the country where he was bron. He even played and scored at U-21 level for Germany before switching alleigances to Serbia at senior level and featuring at EURO2024.
It is no secret that Milan have met with this player in the past but now might be the time for a real deal to be put on the table and the young international to make the big move to one of Europe’s most famous clubs. They will have to offer a fair deal though, as they aren’t the only club interested in Samardžić, with Lazio and Fenerbahce also said to be in talks.
