Serie A side Roma have been the crisis club of the season so far and things aren’t getting better.
The club lost 5-1 to Fiorentina this past weekend and while there is certainty that Ivan Juric will stay as manager, an incident after the loss in Florence may not help his case.
Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato) report about certain incidents in the dressing room. After the loss, a heated argument took place between Gianluca Mancini and Juric. Juric entered the room furiously and immediately verbally attacked the Italian defender who was guilty of a bad attitude during Kean’s goal and several other actions
Juric threw a bottle at the player too, after the defender didn’t take the criticism well. The thrown bottle grazed past the Italian and also nearly hit Lorenzo Pellegrini, who was just behind his teammate. It is apparent that Mancini then threw himself in the direction of Juric and there is said to be physical confrontation, even if some at the club deny that.
Pellegrini himself got into a verbal confrontation with sporting director Florent Ghisolfi, as the midfielder defended his teammates from the Frenchman’s criticism.
