Napoli are interested in the possibility of making Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi their next manager, amidst interest from Milan.
The Partenopei seem to be looking far and wide to hire a new manager in the summer and while there is a general agreement with Vincenzo Italiano, they still are working on other tables.
Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (via CN24) have reported about their interest in the possibility of hiring De Zerbi, stating that the Partenopei have made initial contact for Italian. The contact was put through by club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis himself as he wanted to understand if there is a possibility of bringing the ex-Sassuolo manager back to Italy in the summer, as he is set to depart Brighton in the summer.
As of now, Milan are also interested in the possibility of hiring De Zerbi, who has previously expressed his liking for the Rossoneri and how the club has helped him in his career.
Bayern Munich are not going to be De Zerbi’s next destination and that has been prominently reported in Germany, so it remains to be seen if Italy is a concrete possibility of the Seagulls boss.
