Serie A side Roma are interested in the possibility of signing Juventus midfielder Arthur and have made initial contact for the Brazilian.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the situation of the Juventus man, who spent the previous season on loan at Fiorentina and did well for La Viola in defensive midfield.

Roma are looking to upgrade their midfield and while a move for Enzo Le Fee is close, a final agreement is yet to be reached and there is only a gap of about €2 million between Rennes and the Giallorossi. A box-to-box option is Gabriel Sara and Arthur is seen as the deep midfield option.

Initial contact has been made with the entourage of the midfielder, who has also attracted interest from Newcastle United and Everton. He would be a loan move for Roma as his current deal at Juventus runs out in the summer of 2026 and his value is still high for the Bianconeri.
