Serie A giants Roma have sacked manager Daniele de Rossi earlier today and it seems as if former Torino boss Ivan Juric could be the man to replace him.
While a host of names have been linked with the club, it seems as if Juric is the man. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Juric’s agent is in Rome already and there is a hypothesis of the Croatian signing a short-term deal.
He is one of the likeliest candidates to become the club’s next manager and his knowledge of the Serie A is something which is playing in his favour. He could be handed an initial one-year deal till the end of the season and in case of Champions League qualification, his deal could be extended.
He is currently the most advanced candidate for the role, with Stefano Pioli and Max Allegri also considered as options but no contact has been made for either of them.
